Dancing On Ice have revealed a new twist for the current series ahead of Sunday night’s show which will include a double elimination.
MailOnline can exclusively reveal that the couple who receive the lowest score will immediately leave the competition, forgoing the usual skate off.
The score is a combination of the judges verdicts and the public vote, so the contestants will be hoping to secure top marks.
The next two bottom couples will then face the skate off with the judges choosing to save one, meaning the other will also be eliminated.
Claire Sweeney became the latest star to leave the series after landing in the dreaded skate off with Lou Sanders on Sunday.

The jam packed packed show also featured a shocking twist as host Holly Willoughby announced there would be a shock double eviction next week.
Claire gushed about her ‘incredible’ time in the competition and how proud she was to have eight-year-old son Jaxon in the audience.
Claire performed a Burlesque inspired-routine during the show and mentioned during the VT about her injury during rehearsals.
A source exclusively told MailOnline before the show: ‘Last week, the judges feedback was they wanted to see more speed and to be more daring, which Claire took on board.
‘She really wanted to push herself this week, but she pushed herself a bit too much and dislocated her shoulder and hurt her ribs.
