Tori Spelling made her Dancing With The Stars debut on Tuesday’s season 33 premiere, but the Beverly Hills, 90210 star was beset by a wave of trolls mocking her appearance on social media.
Cruel online trolls poked fun at the actress and reality stars puffy features, while others concern-trolled her for her skinny appearance.
But Tori, who was partnered up with dancing pro Pasha Pashkov, also had an army of loyal fans who leapt to her defense.
In addition to those blasting the body shaming, several of her most devoted fans were upset at Tori’s lackluster score for the evening, as they thought she did a better job than several of her higher-scoring competitors.

‘loving tori spelling on dwts this season!!’ sarcastically wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter) while including a picture of the hippie songstress Muppet.
The commenters seemed to be keying in on the puppet’s exaggerated lips.
Another mean puppet-themed post featured a puppet representing a teenage fast food worker from the Nickelodeon series Mr. Meaty who also had bulbous lips.
‘Listen I’m all for people doing what they want to make themselves feel their best but Tori Spelling looks like Mr. Meaty,’ another poster wrote.
Some viewers complained about Tori’s alleged plastic surgery or filler use.
‘Tori Spelling might be 87% plastic at this point,’ joked one troll.

Among the mean comments was one saying she ‘desperately needs to eat…A LOT!!,’ to which the user added a shocked emoji and a skull.
The comments came in the wake of Tori admitting earlier this year that she had tried the diabetes treatment drug Ozempic to help her shed pounds after she gave birth to her youngest child.
She admitted that after it failed to work for her, she had to switch to the similar drug Mounjaro to help lose weight quickly.
Tori said on her misSpelling podcast that she was ‘lucky’ that she coudl lose weight easily after her first four kids, but she gave the diabetes drugs a try after she ‘couldn’t lose’ the baby weight from son Beau, now seven.
However, it’s unknown if she used any similar substances leading up to her DWTS debut.
The cruelty of the trolls was equaled by the vociferous defenses of Tori’s biggest fans.
