Nadia Bartel escapes to Bali with boyfriend Peter Dugmore after disastrous Dancing With The Stars debut

Nadia Bartel‘s Dancing With The Stars debut was slammed by judges on Sunday night.

And the former AFL WAG has fled to Bali in the wake of the car crash performance.

Bartel, 39, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share images of her sun-soaked getaway with boyfriend Peter Dugmore.

‘Pure bliss here. The beach was so beautiful today,’ the mother-of-two captioned the images of herself stripped down to a black and white bikini.

Other images showed the Henne fashion mogul dressed in a black halter neck blouse and skimpy shorts that made the most of her long, slender legs.

Another photo showed Jimmy Bartel’s ex cuddling up to her new beau on a lounge, while yet another showed the fitness model baring his chiseled chest in a shirtless snap.

In response to a fan comment, Nadia revealed the couple were staying at Uluwatu beach in Bali.

The getaway comes just days after Nadia’s shocking first dance aired on Channel Seven‘s Dancing With The Stars.

Judges mercilessly roasted her performance of the cha-cha with her professional dance partner, Lyu Masuda this week.

‘It was out of time. It lacked dynamic. The hip and leg action was not there in the slightest, so it didn’t look like a cha-cha,’ said Craig Revel Horwood.

‘For me it was very pedestrian, like you were literally walking the streets, stomping. You did sell it, with the hair flicks,’ he added.

The audience booed the judge’s comments, to which he snapped, ‘Oh shut up!’

Judge Sharna Burgess chimed in, saying she liked Nadia’s ‘sexy strut’ but admitted she had work to do.

‘I loved you guys together, cute chemistry. And, you know, Nadia, you are what this show is about,’ Sharna said.

‘You are fire at the strut but we need a little something else,’ she added.

Elsewhere, Helen Richey was charitable with the judge saying we cannot expect someone who has been dancing for just a few weeks to have the same skill as a professional.

However, she added, ‘Your transference of weight needs to be smoother to come out here and perform.’

Nadia grinned and bared the criticism, taking it well despite being largely slammed for her efforts.

Viewers tuning in to the show at home also had some harsh words, with several sharing their thoughts on X.

‘Nadia can’t dance, but she looks great,’ one person commented, while another said, ‘Why does Nadia get help from backup dancers?’

One more posted: ‘Ooh Nadia Bartel with the Cha Cha. But she’s forgetting steps and you can see her thinking through the dance.’

Nadia previously revealed she’s not as secure as her followers might think ahead of her Dancing with the Stars debut.

‘I give that impression, I’m confident and assured,’ Nadia told the Herald Sun on Thursday.

‘But I’m very much an over-thinker and sometimes doubt myself. I’m definitely not that loud confident person in the room,’ she continued.

Elsewhere in the interview, the mother-of-two revealed that she had turned down several offers to appear on DWTS over the years.

‘They have asked me in the past and the timing didn’t align with the kids being young,’ she told the publication.
