Strictly’s Dan Walker reveals his tooth fell out after “nasty altercation”

Strictly Come Dancing’s Dan Walker has revealed his tooth fell out after “a nasty altercation”.

Dan was hosting his breakfast radio show on Classic FM when he lost his tooth, and the surprising culprit was peanut butter.

The presenter shared a mirror selfie of himself frowning at his tooth, which he holds up in his hand.

“Actual tooth fell out on air this morning after a nasty altercation with some crunchy peanut butter @classicfm,” he posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“For clarity, is that a bit of the peanut butter or the tooth?” quipped one follower.

“Don’t forget to put it under your pillow tonight,” joked another.

Others praised Dan’s show and his professionalism, including one fan who commented: “And we were saying what a fabulous, joyous show it was this morning too! You carried it off so well.”

This isn’t the first gruesome picture Dan has shared, as he posted several graphic images after being hit by a car whilst on his bike in 2023.

“Bit of an accident this morning. Glad to be alive after getting hit by a car on my bike. Face is a mess but I don’t think anything is broken. Thanks to Shaun and Jamie for sorting me out and the lovely copper at the scene. This is my smiling 😂 Thankful for our NHS ❤️,” he wrote at the time.

Dan joined Classic FM earlier this year.

At the time of the announcement, he said: “I am passionate about classical music and I’m a long-time listener – I also love the breakfast audience and I think they know me well so I can’t wait to get started.”
